Things get frosty up in Northern Niflheim, but nobody handles winter calamity quite like the Salty Squeaker—a tiny mouse girl with an industrial-sized enthusiasm for salt. When the Chione Snowfield monsters slither out to enjoy their daily terrorizing, she pops up with a shovel, a grin, and way too much sodium for anyone’s comfort.

Armed with an impossibly bottomless salt canister, she cheerfully melts every patch of ice she can find—much to the absolute misery of the cold-loving horrors who call the region home.

She’s also a frequent sight at the Fallen Village, dutifully sprinkling protective salt circles at the request of the wrinkly-yet-great Witch Kyna. Whether warding off evil spirits or ruining a monster’s entire day, she attacks every task with boundless, squeaky determination.
